These are my one of a kind
handcrafted gourds, some I have sculptured animals on top,
others are painted, engraved or pyro-engraved, all are made

"Rattlesnake topper gourd"
This is a large gourd measuring around at 33" and about 7" to the top, a
flat top gourd also. I cut out a lid shape for the gourd and the whole gourd
is painted with basket and bead work designs, a n
agate cabochon is centered on the led for lifting off. the inside is cleaned
out of pulp but still rough and natural looking. I made large sculpture of a
rattlesnake on wrapping it around the gourd and attaching it, texturing the
snakes skin and painting it also. This gourd was
so fun to do, in person it might make the snake squirmy person
uncomfortable! it is all sealed in a satin sealer. Signed and will come with

 Black
bear cub fishing
This is a large fully intact gourd about 31" measured around the middle and
about 7" high, the top is fairly flat, so i did a sculpture out of two part
apoxie sculpt clay in bronze, of a bear cub and a fish in the water, head and
tail sticking out. the log is of polymer clay. I then used the oxidizing
medium and bronze real metal flecked paint to give the bear a bronze sculpture
look. The water around the bear (suppose to be a shallow bit of water) is also
using the oxidizing medium which gives it a nice pale green/ blue look. I then
sculpted beads of clay around the water and cabochons of clay painted
turquoise here and there, I hand painted thousands of beads , making up a
pattern of flowers in purple and yellow against a white background and
turquoise on the front, in the center is another bronze sculpture I made of
a bear head, which is also oxidized to look like a old bronze piece, and then
again in the back is a painting of a black bear in the forest. Available,

"Native People"
Approx. dimensions are
11" high by 9" wide, this gourd has been very detailed
pyroengraved through out, also paint highlighted ,and
stones are inset along with beads. Sealed and signed.
