Paintings
I still love to paint, I use to do scrimshaw on
bone and fossilized ivory, which I might include eventually on this
site, but I always try to find time to paint my favorite subjects of
animals, mostly wildlife, since I grew up near mount Saint Helens
and had the opportunity to be around deer, elk, fish, waterfowl,
coyotes and lots of various small creatures of course. I also have
always enjoyed portrait work, but mostly historical people, and
Native Americans. I love researching pioneers of the Northwest , and
mountain men. In the last few years I Have added gourds to my
artwork and enjoy pyro-engraving, carving and painting them.

"Fawn" another one of a kind, original watercolor .Framed in
a simple wood frame, outside dimensions are 19x23, image is
11x13.5" with a fancy artistic matt, in a linen weave look
with turquoise colored inset mats. I didn't have a model for
this one, but loved making her up as I went.

This is another one of a kind painting original painting, this
black and white cat is lounging in a vintage spiderweb pattern
quilt, I named the painting "Spot on the web", 23x26 outside
dimension , and painting itself is 15" x 19" , and has a
textured tone on tone mat. The frame is textured and gold on
black.
